The Scottish Gemmology Conference will be held at

THE QUEENS HOTEL, PERTH

105 Leonard St, Perth, PH2 8HB,

THE QUEENS HOTEL,  is next to the Bus Station and opposite the Railway Station.  A limited number of free parking spaces are available.  The hotel has 51 rooms. The hotel also has a leisure suite, with swimming pool.  All rooms have been reserved at special rates for the conference.

How to get there:

By Air

Edinburgh Airport is the nearest airport – about 40 minutes by car.

Taylor's Taxis, based in Perth, try to arrange a fare sharing service between Edinburgh Airport and Perth.  Contact by phone (Tel.: 01738  637 066)

By Road

From Edinburgh:
From M90 follow road into Perth to 2nd main set of traffic lights, turn left and follow road alongside park area.  Road turns sharply to the right at the railway Station and the Queens Hotel is on the right hand side of the road.

From Glasgow:

From dual carriage way, follow signs for Perth City Centre, straight across 4 roundabouts until you come to the first main set of traffic lights opposite the Lloyds Pharmacy shop, turn right follow the road when it turn sharply to the left.  Once at the junction turn right.  The Queens Hotel is 100 yards on your left.  Car park is to the right of the Hotel.

By Rail

There is one direct train per day from London to Perth and a regular train service from Edinburgh and Glasgow.
