The excursion will be led by British Champion Gold Panner, Peter Dallas

The Glengaber burn is a tributary of the Meggat water which runs into St Marys loch. There is

space to park at the dam and where the Glengaber runs under the road .The walking distance

will be no more than a mile over lumpy grassland into a small glen but you have to cross the

burn a couple of times so wellingtons or waders will be needed.
